Why we exist
Private markets are sophisticated, complex and high-stakes. Returns follow strict economic sequences defined in agreements. One miscalculation can affect investor trust and firm reputation.
Spreadsheets are powerful tools but they were never designed to be the backbone of private markets infrastructure.
qashqade replaces Excel models and spreadsheet replicas with a purpose-built calculation engine that directly follows fund economics. Every return of capital, hurdle, catch-up and carry calculation is processed in the correct contractual order.

qashqade is led by a team combining private markets expertise, fund accounting knowledge and technology experience. Our leadership understands both sides of the challenge: the operational realities of running funds and the discipline required to build reliable financial systems.
Oliver has over 30 years’ experience in financial services, holding senior leadership roles in London, New York and across the EU. He is highly experienced in building businesses that address the operational challenges faced by private markets. As CEO of qashqade, Oliver focuses on building modern allocation management infrastructure for private markets, supporting clients as they navigate increasingly complex fund structures, rising transparency requirements, and the need to scale beyond manual processes.
Gregor has held various leadership roles in financial services, combining his backgrounds in product management and technology. With deep expertise in waterfall calculations, carried interest, and fund distributions, he plays a key role in transforming how private market participants manage operational and financial risks. His experience bridges technology, governance, and finance offering unique insights into the operational risks and complexities facing private markets today.
Paul has over 20 years’ experience in financial services, spanning trading, wealth management, private banking, and institutional crypto. He has extensive experience delivering resilient, mission-critical systems within complex regulatory frameworks. His expertise is in driving the adoption of advanced automation, OpenAI-powered solutions, and custom LLM capabilities to enhance product quality, accelerate delivery cycles, and increase operational efficiency.
Stefano joined qashqade in 2023 to bring expertise in strategic financial management and business analysis. He began his career at PwC and has since accumulated more than 25 years’ experience in senior finance roles across diverse industries. Stefano combines strong analytical rigour with commercial insight to support sustainable growth. His focus is on aligning financial strategy with the company’s long-term objectives and scaling ambitions.
Kelley brings 25 years of hands-on experience in deferred compensation and private markets administration. A passionate advocate for client satisfaction, Kelley believes that lasting partnerships are built on trust, responsiveness, and a genuine commitment to understanding each client’s unique needs. This same philosophy extends to her approach to team building — fostering collaborative, high-performing environments where people are empowered to do their best work and deliver exceptional outcomes.
Darren joined qashqade to lead the company’s expansion in the US market, bringing over 15 years of experience in SaaS sales across private markets and financial technology. He has built and led commercial teams, developed strategic accounts, and worked with investment management firms across North America and internationally. Darren is focused on helping firms across the private markets ecosystem improve transparency, efficiency, and trust through better technology.
Caroline brings extensive experience in private markets and financial technology, bridging the gap between industry challenges and innovative solutions. She has worked closely with institutional investors and fund managers, understanding the complexities they face in the alternative investment space. Before joining qashqade, Caroline held key roles at international technology and private markets firms, with a passion to leverage technology to enhance transparency and efficiency.
Tom has been a core part of qashqade’s engineering team for several years, helping shape the platform from its earliest days into a secure, scalable system for private markets. He is passionate about solving algorithmic challenges and building solutions that work intuitively for a wide range of users. Tom’s work underpins qashqade’s mission to deliver precise, high-impact technology for private market participants.
