The latest release of qashqade (version 24.2.0) introduces several enhancements and upgrades to further improve the user experience, simplify the user journey and increase security. This release also includes several user administration improvements, security upgrades, and bug fixes.
Report creation now even easier
With our latest release, configuring reports is now simpler and more streamlined. Instead of a separate configuration screen, settings can now be adjusted directly on the report.
To retain and increase scalability and efficiency, you can load and apply custom configuration templates to any report. Once a template is loaded, you can further adjust its settings specifically for that report, without affecting the original template.
Auditability across your reports is also enhanced, with options to automatically include additional run information, such as the run name, trigger date, and last transaction, along with report metadata.
Enhanced data preparation
We’ve enhanced our data preparation feature with a new option to determine a multiplier through a calculation. Data can be created using a “factor” built on NPV calculations.
Other improvements for data preparation include an option where dates can be rounded to semi-annual frequency.
KS PME Metric
The Kaplan-Schoar Public Market Equivalent (KS-PME) has been added as a metric. It produces a ratio of the relative performance of the private asset to a chosen public benchmark.
Calculated by discounting the private equity fund cash flows by the public market index value. The discounted distributions plus the current remaining value are divided by the discounted contributions to obtain the ratio.
Smarter error and warning messages
Navigation is now faster when detecting errors. If you pin a failure message and navigate away, you can easily return to the associated waterfall by clicking on the link icon.
Dashboard date/time stamp
The dashboard now shows the date and time as of when data was included in the creation of the dashboard reports. A small but powerful update.
Simpler user administration
Recent work to simplify “access management” is now complete in this release. The “profile screen” has been refined to reflect the functionalities you use the application for, displaying the modules that you do and don’t have access to, according to your license with qashqade.
Superuser profiles have been modified and a “soft-delete” function is now available to remove Admins. Please refer to the release notes for full details.
