The summer release of qashqade (version 24.1.0) brings a range of benefits to users, with improvements to the GP Carry module, waterfall run, data preparation, and users can now take advantage of OKTA single sign-on. This release also features several screen performance and security upgrades.
Introducing GP Proceeds
The GP Carry module now includes a new screen, GP Proceeds Run, where users can define how values, such as transactions or waterfall runs, are utilized, and adapted to flow through the allocation logic, catering to different needs.
It allows you to select the source of the proceeds among the waterfall calculations and or transactions loaded directly to the application. In addition, the user can manipulate that input to fit the needs for the following carry allocation calculation. The calculation results are then available to be reported on.
Accelerate the configuration of realized waterfalls
qashqade has enhanced the waterfall run screen to improve navigation and configuration for users.
One significant update affects the progressive run feature, which now accelerates the configuration of realized waterfalls. The progress report functionality has also been refined. You can continue to specify two dates using the date picker, with results calculated for both dates and the variance determined.
Additionally, the latest update allows users to select relative dates based on the first or last transaction, and specify whether the reference is end of quarter, month, or year. This ensures that progress dates are automatically adjusted according to new transactions.
Data preparation now includes more features for transaction creation
The data preparation functionality has been enhanced with additional features for transaction creation. Transaction types can now be created on screen and reviewed in the transaction type screen with one click. Also, users can now incorporate fixed values into the created transactions.

OKTA single sign-on is now available to integrate for identity management for clients.
