Junior Analyst/Consultant

Founded in 2018, qashqade provides private market organizations an enterprise product suite for streamlining their calculation, allocation, tracking and reporting processes. Waterfall and carried interest calculations can be automated, replacing manual, error-prone spreadsheets and improving communications between GPs and LPs through enhanced reporting. Built by private markets experts, for private markets experts, the qashqade platform offers a flexible, modular based solution for fund managers, fund administrators and investors alike, and is asset-class agnostic. Headquartered in Zürich, qashqade also has offices in New York, London, and Budapest.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support our clients in implementing their waterfall calculations in our software via training sessions and a tailor-made level of implementation services
  • Closely work together with COOs / CFOs, investors, as well as with their legal counsels to translate their contractual terms (LPA’s) to calculation steps and logic (quantitative modelling)
  • Provide critical insights on the development of new product features
  • Support our CTO in various software testing

We think you are a good match if:

  • You are an EU or EFTA citizen
  • You have a Master’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or another quantitative field or equivalent work experience, however MSc and PhD students with some work experience are also welcome to apply
  • You have strong financial and quantitative acumen reflected by above-average university grades or work experience
  • You have good communication and presentation skills
  • You have advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • You are fluent in English; other languages (e.g. German, French) are an advantage
  • You like IT and have at least a basic understanding of the concepts of coding (no programming skills required)
  • You love your work; you are passionate about what you do and seek to improve yourself those working with you
  • You are well organized and proactive
  • You are flexible regarding working hours
  • You want to commit yourself to a start-up with all its ups and downs
  • You have high ethical standards and personal integrity
  • You started a financial qualification program (such as CAIA or CFA) (optional)
